History Fair Event
I was a facilitator for ms. Goldbaums history fair. I was also responsible of grading the freshmen that were presenting then at the end would return the technology that was borrowed from mr. cuevas back to him. As a facilitator for this event, I had to control the laptop, speaker, and projector to make sure it was all functioning so that there wouldn't be any technology problems during the presentation.
Science Project Event
The science event that ms. Yang hosted afterschool around the end of may is what I participated in. I helped with being a facilitator for the event. I had the responsibility that there wouldn't be any problems with technology during the presentation and that the freshmen were presenting on time.
I was also responsible of grading the freshmen that were presenting then at the end would return the technology that was borrowed from mr. cuevas back to him.
Freshman Career Project Event
I was able to help ms. T Ng with the freshman career project after school. I helped her recruit people to help her facilitate the event and was one of the facilitators. As a facilitator for this event, I had to control the laptop, speaker, and projector to make sure it was all functioning so that there wouldn't be any technology problems during the presentation. HIIT The Beat Event
On April 11th, some AP Biology students created and hosted an event about health and wellness. Many gertz students, staff and parents attended the event. The event was to motivate exercise in peoples daily lives. Myself with two other helpers recorded the event. I took video of the workout routine that the advance group did and when they measured there BMI. I not only recorded videos but also took pictures of other groups but mainly focused on the advance group. I was able to get some interviews with the people that attended the event the pre and post event. I uploaded the videos and pictures onto the google drive of the mngvideos account. I had made a folder and put it under ap biology. I have yet to upload them to youtube because there were so many videos and many took forever to process because some videos ranged from two minutes to about 20 minutes. The event on itself was very successful and there is proof from pictures and videos that it was a successful event.
Namastay at Gertz Event
On March 10th, there was an event with three stations preparing healthy food, yoga and meditation, and gardening. The purpose for the event was to show gertz the importance about health and wellness. My task for that event was to take pictures for the yoga station and video. I was also in charge of managing and getting people help me record the event. Since I was in the yoga station, diana was in the food station, and yilda was in the gardening station. After the event, I uploaded the images and videos onto the mngvideos drive and have separated some into their own folders with the footage that diana and yilda had collected. With that raw footage I would create a brief video summary of the event and how successful the event was. These were some images and thevideos are on drive and will be soon on the youtube channel.

In the end of February, I created a yputube channel to upload videos that were collected from environmental science classes, ap biology, and exploring computer science class. The youtube channel was created so that it can be showed and stored in a certain area. So far on the youtube channel there is just videos of ap biology but soon their would be videos uploaded about the march 10 event and environmental science class presentations. The youtube channel would also be more organized with playlist that could lead specific people to any genera that they would want to watch. mngvideos

In February, I was asked to create a powerpoint explaining how to use google docs. This presentation is meant to teach students from middle school how to use the very basics of google docs. The prezi just goes into depth about the purpose of google docs and the features that students could use when typing an essay. The point was to help middle school students create essays and papers in a professional format through the use of features that google docs offers to anyone. I also included how drive was able to save any work online by itself without having the issue of internet problems at home. The presentation still needs to be modified in one or two slides to help them understand how to format a proper essay on google docs due to the feedback that I received and would be presented sometime this year or next year to middle school students. October 8th 2015
On October 8th 2015 I was able to help Mr.Pineda in helping parents use both Pinnacle and Pinwheel. The purpose for this workshop was to help parents with their technological needs in order to access sites such as Pinwheel and Pinnacle. Both Cindy and I were to attend the workshop that had taken place on Thursday from 5:00 p.m to 6:00 p.m. In Ms. Molla's room with Mr.Cuevas we were able to set up the Macbook Airs that were provided in the room. To be sure we had set up all the computers in the room in order to avoid interrupting Mr.Pineda during his presentation. Mr.Cuevas was able to help us with the initial set up until he had to attend his classes. While we were waiting for the workshop to begin I was able to give a quick rundown to Cindy on how the Workshop is and how we are able to help parents out. The workshop had around 7 parents in total and majority had been from the week prior from Saturday. Cindy was able to introduce parents to the workshop and explain what will take place. In the Pinnacle Session we were able to help parents log in to their accounts that went quickly and efficiently for everyone. The length of the first portion of accessing Pinnacle went longer than expected and by 5:45 we had begun our transition towards Pinwheel. One of the parents did not have much experience with computers and I was able to help them one on one with the basics of computing. I was able to show them how to access Chrome and how to find the school website. From there I was able to help them with creating a Gmail account and a Pinwheel account. While I was helping the parent Cindy had been able to help the five other parents with their technological needs that involved creating an account, keeping passwords and other Pinwheel issues. The Pinwheel Portion of the workshop as it often requires the most steps such as creating the account and how it is important to understand what is going on.By 6:30 p.m the lesson had gone over the initial deadline and Mr.Pineda was able to end the lecture in order to advance into next week. After the lesson we had been able to pick up all the computers away to the Macbook Cart. The lesson was a success as both Cindy and I were able to help parents with their needs of accessing both Pinnacle and Pinwheel even if it did require for us to stay until we were able to help all the parents.
