I was able to learn different languages in computer science. Such as Java Script, HTML/CSS, and SQL. I was very interested in knowing more about this language for programs because it had an interest of being able to tell a computer or website what to do. I had not expected to do very well in these modules but surprised myself a little because I put a lot of time in trying to understand the code. So far, I haven't been able to advance with my learning on Khan Academy and coding because of Edx which I am learning this new program to code with. But I would like to continue using Khan Academy to learn the different variety of languages in programming.

I finished all the modules for Khan Academy's Computer Programming.
Intro to JS: Drawing & Animation
In this module it was all about learning the basics to coding in the language of JavaScript. I learned how to make shapes, create fun drawings and animations just knowing the basics. This module was very easy in my opinion because the videos were excellent in explaining the functions of each code and know how to apply them. The module was very interesting in knowing that I was able to tell the computer to do something and it does it but the work needs to be organized and especially in the correct order. JavaScript is very easy to understand but remembering the order to create the animation is sort of tricky but I am always looking for challenges. By completing this module it has interest me in wanting to learn more of coding.
Intro to HTML/CSS: Making webpages
HTML and CSS are two computer languages that are used to create webpages. HTML was also another easy module because the language was similar to the JavaScript. HTML is the markup language that surround content with to tell the browsers about headings, list, tables, and etc. CSS is another computer language that is like a style sheet language that would allow the person to style the page, tell browsers to change color, font, layout, and more. This module is more in creating webpages which would come in handy in the future to create ones own person page.
Intro to SQL: Querying and managing data
SQL is learning how to store, query, and manipulate data. This was a very difficult module in my opinion because it was different from the other two modules and there were more things that I had to pay attention to. The purpose of SQL is to special purpose programming language that manages data in a relational database, and is used by huge number of apps and organizations. It is a very common code for apps and organization because it allows there to be more of an organized platform for business but there are more steps to accomplish that goal. SQL is a very useful language for a career in business because it allows there to be an organization of material and content on code.
Advance JS: Games & Visualizations
In this module it was to expand my knowledge of js into knowing more techniques. JS advance was to create multi-scene programs, 3d graphics, button menus, and scored games. Not only was it to open our minds into learning more techniques of coding JS but still use our previous knowledge and expand on that idea. This was also a very easy module to complete because I fully understood the intro to js and this was just a step closer into knowing more about java script. There is a lot more to learn about java script because it is a big computer language.
Advanced JS: Natural Simulations
Again continuing on with java script in learning more about the computer language. In this module I learned how to combine js, processing js and mathematical concepts to simulate nature. TO derivative of the nature of code by Daniel Shiffmen and his book in the nature of js. This module was the similar challenging level as the sql because there was more code into remembering but easy once practicing more. I found it easy towards the end because it was using the same coding techniques of the advance js. JS in my opinion is very interesting to engaging me into wanting to know about coding for java script.
HTML/JS: Making webpages interactive
In this module it is to advance my knowledge of HTML and JS in trying to create webpages more interactive. This was to learn how to use HTML/CSS with java script DOM API to make webpages interactive. This module connects with the HTML/CSS module but more advance which is making the webpages more into ones own style. This gives the creator more power over the way the webpage is going to come out as and make it more interactive with the audience. This was fairly challenging module because its using all of my knowledge of coding so far together to one.

In this module it was to expand more of the topic of HTML/JS and making webpages interactive with jQuery. This was in my opinion the most difficult module out of all of them because the code had many material to it and it had to be in the right format and order and all the small objects had to be there in correct order if not then the whole thing would be wrong. This module was more about the code had to be in one way unlike the others were there were different ways to write the same code. This was the world's most popular JS browser library to add to interactivity to webpages. It was the same as the last module but with jQuery which was just inserting picture from the the library or browser which could cause a glitch in the computer if not written in the correct format so this was a very difficult module.
Meet the Professional
This last module was just videos about professions that code for a living. The computer science and programming skills could be used and applied to life and people could be very successful in the future if they continue to code. People from all around the world and the industry to introduce themselves and find the diverse fields they are in by knowing coding. Coding is something that anyone could do and pursue as a future career. Coding is something that interests me a lot in wanting to know more about and hopefully be able to code as a career.
